Skoda View in SUV Internal Model Disclosed in new designs

We reported earlier that on 3 February before its debut at Auto Expo 2020 on 7 February, Skoda would unleash the Vision IN SUV model. In December the organization unveiled the internal SUV design, and the first public Skoda Vision IN sketches is revealed now. The new images display us the essence of Skoda’s future compact SUV’s design language.

The sketches show that the Vision IN shares important design elements with the Kamiq sold abroad. This comes with Indian improvements, though, and has a bolder and straighter face. The chromed trademark Skoda grille is on the front and offset by broken light bulbs of the projection screen. The Vehicle has an angled shield that makes for wide intakes of air and a three-slot wash. Plastic coverings can be seen throughout the body and are made bolder by prominent roof rails and large alloys.

The Skoda Vision IN’s rear profile appears heavily inspired by the Kamiq SUV, with a crystal-like LED rear light and a light stripe over the width of the SUV and a 3-slip skid plate. The design of the Vision IN SUV will be 4,26 m in length, which will be close to the VW T-Cross in Brazil.

Inspired by Kamiq and others worldwide Skoda SUVs, the internal design of the Skoda Vision IN appears. It offers a large, standalone touchscreen information system with advanced networking functionality and a wireless instrument console for virtual cockpits. Automatic Ventilation, panoramic umbrella, driving modes, ambient lighting, rear air-condition conditions, etc. will provide other luxury functions.

The first model to be built on the VW Group’s MQB AO IN Indian architecture will also endorse VW T-Cross for India. Skoda Vision IN Concept-based SUV will be the first vehicle. The SUV is operating on a 2651 mm long wheel-base to help free the Czech car manufacturer for rear passengers.

The Skoda Vision IN SUV will be sold with 2 motor choices–1.0 liters of turbo-petrol with 3 cylinders, and 1.5 liters of turbo-petrol with4-cylinder motors. In addition, the organization could launch the SUV CNG variant. In the first half of 2021, the SUV is scheduled to start. These will take on the next-generation Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks and the MG Hector, Tata Harrier and Mahindra XUV500 entry-level models.
