In the near future, the Bajaj auto will update its popular motorcycle range Avenger cruiser to comply with the BS6 emission standards. While the official launch is due in the next few weeks, updated model prices have been revealed. Cruiser 220 costs Rs. 1.1.5 lakh and the BS6 Bajaj Avenger Street 160 costs Rs. 89,536 and BS6-compliant Street 220. Ex-Showroom, Mumbai, all prices.
In comparison to the BS4 version, the RS 7,501 (Str. 160) and Rs 11,584 (Str. 220 and Cruise 220) compliant BS6-compliant Avenger is costly. Fuel injection technology has been used for all three updated models. The biker is still to announce official strength and torque estimates of the BS6-compliant engines.
The air-cooled air motor of the 160cc Avenger Street, in its BS4 form, provides 15PS at 8500rpm with 13.5Nm at 7000rpm. A 2200cc-air-cooled engine is used for 19h03hp in 8400 rpm and 17,5Nm in 7000 rpm, for both the BS6 Bajaj Avenger Street and the Cruise 220.

The last update for 2017 was given to the Bajaj Avenger series. A new grab line, new instrument panel, black tires, mag spokes, black painted battery, and black exhaust are introduced to the street model.
