The Hyundai Alcazar three-row SUV, which was just introduced, is priced between Rs 16.30 lakh and Rs 20.14 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s available in Prestige, Platinum, and Signature trims, with 2.0L gasoline and 1.5L diesel engines. The gasoline engine produces 159 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque, while the oil burner produces 115 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are available with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. Buyers can select between two seating configurations: six and seven chairs.
The Alcazar Platinum (O) 7-seater version has been homologated, according to a document from the Delhi Transport Department. It suggests that the automaker may expand its SUV model portfolio to include more 7-seater models. There are now 13 6-seater (including dual-tone) and 5-seater versions in the model lineup. Only the Prestige petrol and diesel MT, Prestige (O) diesel AT, and Platinum petrol and diesel MT versions have a 7-seater configuration. The top-of-the-line Signature and Signature (O) trims are the only ones that come with a 6-seater layout and dual-tone colour schemes.
The Signature and Signature (O) models are equipped with front parking sensors, ventilated front seats, a side foot step, and paddle shifters. Only the (O) optional models of the Hyundai Alcazar have three driving modes (Comfort, Eco, Sport) and three traction modes (Snow, Mud, Sand). A 360-degree parking camera, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a blind view monitor, leatherette upholstery, an air purifier, an automatic parking brake, a motorised driver seat, a second-row backrest cushion, a Bose sound system, and six airbags are included in the Platinum grade.
