MG Marvel Electric SUV Scores 4 Star Safety Rating At Euro NCAP
MG Motors’ electric SUV achieved a four-star safety rating and a range of 400 kilometers. The all-new Marvel R Electric vehicle is equipped with the most advanced safety features. MG Motors’ electric SUV, the Marvel, has a four-star NCAP safety rating in Europe. The Marvel R is a worldwide version of the Roewe electric SUV that is sold in China.

When it comes to the technicalities of the crash test, the Marvel R’s passenger compartment stayed stable in the frontal offset test. Both the driver’s and passenger’s knees and femurs were well protected. However, based on chest compression data, the driver’s chest protection was assessed as minimal. Furthermore, the dashboard’s structure put occupants of various sizes at risk of damage.
The SUV achieved an Adult Occupant Protection of 80% and a Child Occupant Protection of 75%, respectively. The SUV is considered to be far more advanced than the ZS EV, and it comes with an extensive list of safety features that helped it earn a high safety rating.
This SUV features an active braking system as well as a battery safety management system. It has a 70 kW battery pack that can travel 400 kilometers on a single charge. It takes only 40 minutes to charge the battery to 80% capacity.
