Jaguar I-Pace, an electric SUV, was unveiled in India at a starting price of INR 1.06 crore

Jaguar Land Rover unveiled the first all-electric performance SUV, the I-Pace, in India on Tuesday at an immersive multimedia event attended by representatives of the media, consumers, fans, and enthusiasts.

The electric performance SUVs are available in three variants: S, SE, and HSE, with prices starting at INR 1.06 crore, INR 1.08 crore, and INR 1.12 crore, respectively.

The I-Pace powertrain, according to Jaguar, produces 294 kW and 696 Nm of available instant torque. The electric SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds thanks to built-in all-wheel-drive traction.

The car has a 90-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery and two electric motors that produce 400 horsepower. The battery has an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty. In addition to the regular 8 years or 160 000 km battery warranty, a 7.4 kW AC wall-mounted adapter will be included.

Customers can now get a free 5-year warranty kit as well as 5-year Jaguar Roadside Assistance. Customers of the Jaguar Land Rover I-Pace will be able to get office and home charging solutions thanks to a partnership with Tata Power.

The business said in a statement that twenty-two retail stores in 19 cities are fitted in terms of technology, sales, and after-sales service. The new Jaguar Land Rover store charging system includes most of the country’s metro cities and main urban centres.

The electric SUV will be a competitor to the Mercedes-Benz EQC.
