The 2021 Harley-Davidson model range for the Indian market has been announced by Hero MotoCorp. There are 13 variants on the list, with prices ranging from Rs 10.11 lakh (for the Iron 883) to Rs 34.99 lakh (for the Iron 883). (for the Road Glide Special). The new Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250’s price has also been revealed. The adventure bike is available in two models: Standard and Exclusive, with prices ranging from Rs 16.90 lakh to Rs 20.90 lakh. Many of the rates mentioned are ex-showroom.
The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 is powered by a 1252cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The engine has been calibrated to produce 150 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 127Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. Variable Valve Timing (VVT) has been added to ensure an equal distribution of torque across the rev range.
Torque slip control, connected braking, hill hold assist, lean responsive ABS, and traction control are only a few of the advanced technologies available on the 2021 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250. Adaptive headlights, spoked wheels with tubeless tyres, heated grips, aluminium skid plate, adjustable rear brake lever, steering damper, adaptive ride height, semi-active suspension with vehicle load control, and tyre pressure monitoring system are all included in the feature list.
Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp will conclude a new marketing and licensing deal for the Indian market in October 2020. The hero will handle Harley Davidson motorcycle sales and support in the country as part of this relationship. Harley-Davidson parts, components, riding shoes, clothing, and general merchandise will be sold by brand-exclusive Harley-Davidson retailers as well as Hero’s current dealerships.
