The electric vehicle will be introduced on April 6, 2022, and will be an SUV.
This might be the Nexon Coupe EV, as the roofline resembles that of a coupe.
The car’s battery pack might be greater than that of the Nexon EV.
Tata Motors EV Concept Teaser
Tata Motors has unveiled a new teaser film for its next electric vehicle concept.
The EV has been teased previously, but the teaser didn’t reveal much.
Later, the carmaker clarified that the concept was in fact an SUV, shutting out the chance of a much-anticipated Altroz EV debut.
This still leaves open the possibility of a Punch EV, a Nexon EV with a longer range, or perhaps the Sierra EV, but the current teaser video suggests otherwise.
The EV also has some stylish roof rails running down its coupe-style roofline, and the SUV, like many other EVs on the market, has wheel covers to decrease drag and boost range.
The rear spoiler, or rather what’s underneath it, was one of the most intriguing aspects.
The back windscreen looks to be at a sharp angle to the rear spoiler, giving the electric SUV a coupé-like roofline.
This information hints that the Nexon Coupe EV might be the next electric vehicle, but we’ll have to wait until April 6, 2022, to find out for sure.
The electric SUV, despite nothing, is known about it, might be a model that stands above the Nexon and serves as Tata Motors‘ flagship electric vehicle. The coupe SUV will be smaller than the Tata Sierra EV prototype, but it will have a larger battery than the Nexon EV already on the market. Tata wants to develop an extended-range version of the Nexon EV so that a larger battery might end up in the tiny SUV. In the Indian market, the electric car might compete with vehicles like the facelifted MG ZS EV and the old Hyundai Kona EV.
