NEW DELHI: Maserati debuted the all-new 2021 Ghibli lineup in India on Friday. To round out the automaker’s Trofeo lineup, the Ghibli enters the Levante series.
The price of a 2021 Maserati Ghibli Hybrid starts at Rs 1.15 crore and goes up to Rs 1.42 crore (ex-showroom). The Ghibli V6 is priced from Rs 1.51 crore to Rs 1.57 crore (ex-showroom). The top-of-the-line Ghibli V8 Trofeo costs Rs 1.93 crore (ex-showroom).
With a 2.0-litre petrol engine, the Ghibli gets an all-new electric powertrain. The engine produces 334 PS when combined with the 48V motor. The V6 and V8 engines have been retained and continue to produce 430 and 580 horsepower, respectively.
Maserati’s Ghibli Hybrid is a significant addition to the 2021 lineup. The car has played a crucial role in the future of the Italian brand. The Ghibli Hybrid accelerates from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in 5.7 seconds, which is 0.7 seconds quicker than the petrol version. The electric car also has a maximum speed of 255 kmph and a peak torque of 450 Nm. In comparison to the petrol variant, the Ghibli Hybrid uses 20% less fuel while maintaining the same level of efficiency.
A restyled signature grille, boomerang-shaped LED taillights, and a subtly upgraded coupe look are all part of the 2021 Ghibli collection. The car also has a full-LED adaptive matrix headlamp that not only enhances the car’s character but also saves energy and has a 200 percent wider field of vision.
A robust Advanced Driving Assistance System is included in the Ghibli series (ADAS). The vehicle has Level 2 self-driving capabilities. Soft-close doors, keyless access, power trunk with kick sensor, skyhook suspensions, 10.1-inch HD touchscreen, and Maserati Connect features all contribute to a better overall experience. The car also earned a 5-star Euro NCAP safety ranking, indicating that the passengers’ safety is a top priority.
The regenerative drive, an exclusive colour scheme with grey and blue overtones, blue air vent, blue Saetta logo on the C-pillar, blue brake callipers, and blue detailing on the upholstery are only a handful of the exclusive details and features of the 2021 Maserati Ghibli Hybrid.
The 2021 Maserati Ghibli will be available with a variety of customizations, and buyers will be able to personalise the exterior and interior using a computer Maserati configurator.
