The next model with BMW’s i4 will contend with Tesla Model 3.

Each minute, EV markets are rising, and BMW i4 is only one of the three evs to be launched by the vehicle manufacturer in the near future. The iNext and the iX3 SUV currently undergoing winter testing are linked to a camouflaged model from an electric car using the BMW 5th-gen EV architecture.

BMW’s old electric vehicles that bear the I the “sports car” include the small, yet modern, the i3 hatchback and the i8. While both are plug-in hybrids, the brand has over the years improved the EV design to drive its first fully powered mid sedan–the BMW i4.

Ready to arrive at the end of 2021, BMW and other big specifications posted winter trial shots of the I4 model. Both include a 390kW motor with a power of 523 hp and a 80kWh battery pack with a single charge which lasts up to 600 km, which is more realistic in terms of the WLTP process.

BMW’s fifth-generation eDrive system features a new electric engine, control, charging tool, and, due to its flat cell model, a more lightweight battery pack than before.

The compact architecture will also be used for upcoming crossover BMW vehicles and is expected to make its appearance on the iX3 next year, with the iNext Ev and the i4. The company announced in a press release “In 2023, the brand BMW will have 25 models of electric drive.”

The i4 is supposedly based on the BMW I Vision Dynamics (2017) Design and the Coupé Prototype 4 Series (2019), both with respect to final design. Last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the latter also packed with some flags with its unusual grill layout.

While the camouflaged model shows not much, as is normally the case, the vehicle is still less drastic than those prototypes and similar to the latest sedan range of the Business.

BMW also pointed to the company’s first purely electric vehicle for the luxury medium size market, incorporating “rolling, sporty and sleek style, high quality and comfortable comfort and versatility in a Gran Cupe four-door, with a flexibility without pollution locally.” “It marks a new age of driving pleasures,” said BMW.
