Volkswagen India has added a new automatic option to the Polo lineup in India. The Polo Comfortline now has an automatic transmission option. This version was previously only available in a manual avatar. The pricing of the 2021 Volkswagen Polo Comfortline TSI Automatic has been reduced to Rs 8.51 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India).
The same five colour options are offered for the 2021 Volkswagen Polo Comfortline TSI AT: Flash Red, Sunset Red, Candy White, Carbon Steel, and Reflex Silver. The new variation may be reserved via the Volkswagen India website or at a Volkswagen certified dealer.

A 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine delivers 108bhp and 175Nm of torque in the Volkswagen Polo Comfortline TSI. A 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission are available. While the manual version is rated at 18.24 kilometres per gallon, the Comfortline AT is rated at 16.47 kilometres per gallon by the ARAI.
Automatic climate control, a 17.7cm Blaupunkt sound system, a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, built-in Bluetooth, and other conveniences are included in this model.
Volkswagen Taigun
In the third quarter of 2021, around July-September, Volkswagen will debut the Taigun mid-sized SUV in India. The new vehicle will be built on the MQB AO IN platform, which is also found in the Skoda Kushaq. A 113bhp, 1.0L turbocharged petrol with 6MT & 6AT and a 148bhp, 1.5L turbocharged petrol with 6MT & 7-speed DSG will be available in the SUV.
