The compact SUV has a flat bonnet and an angular windscreen, as well as a flat top and black body cladding. The Citroen C3 has a contrasting orange top, orange front bumper treatment, blacked-out pillars and roof rails, and dual-tone diamond-cut wheels, according to the scale model. The front grille and the Citroen insignia have been given a chrome finish. The Citroen C3 cabin will be luxury and feature-packed, according to spy pictures. It will have a huge touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connections that will be free-standing. The digital instrument console looks a lot like the one seen in the C5 Aircross. Automatic air conditioning, an electric sunroof, a 12.3-inch digital instrument dashboard, an 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a multi-function steering wheel, and other amenities are likely to be included in the SUV.

On the new CMP, the new Citroen C3 small SUV will be designed and produced (Common Modular Platform). It’s essentially a stripped-down version of the Peugeot 208 chassis, which also serves as the foundation for the Peugeot 2008 SUV. This platform works with a variety of body designs, including hatchbacks, SUV, and sedans, as well as several engine options, including gasoline, hybrid, and electric. Citroen is, in fact, developing a new compact electric SUV based on the e-CMP platform.

The new Citroen C3 small SUV will be driven by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine capable of producing 130bhp. A 5-speed manual transmission will be standard, with a DCT automatic transmission possibly joining the lineup later.

The Citroen CC21 might be the first car in India to use a flex-fuel technology, which allows a 1.2L petrol engine to run on ethanol mixes ranging from 27 percent to 100 percent biofuel. Citroen believes the tiny SUV would provide the firm a competitive advantage in India’s flexi-fuel market.

In its class, the Citroen C3 small SUV will compete against the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and others.

The new model will be eligible for tax breaks for automobiles with a length of less than four metres and a petrol engine capacity of 1.2 litres or less. Citroen should be able to price the new model competitively because to the high level of localization. It would most likely cost between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10 lakh.
